Hello Reader,
It is August, and back-to-dance season is here. (How can summer be over??)
This summer was a different one for me, shifting away from my prior responsibilities as a studio owner and into my role at a new studio, as a teacher and curriculum director.
TEACHER mode activated.
It has been a gift to have the opportunity to examine my teaching resources in a more in-depth way than I have had time to, in a long while.
The result? Lots of really good updates to Dance Dance Hooray teacher tools (plus new stuff too) and lots of good conversations about goals and learning systems.
Right now, I'm thinking about how beneficial dance class culture and connection are to the overall learning goals in a class.
