Hello Reader,
Are you a podcast person? I discovered podcasts a few years ago, and they've now become an integral part of my day. While I'm walking my dog, driving from place to place, or getting the studio opened and ready for the day, I'm often listening to a podcast --something to make me laugh, something to keep me up on the news, and MY favorite -- something that teaches me something new!
And you guys....guess what?? I am on a podcast!
I was recently a guest on the Preschool Dance Teachers Podcast, hosted by Jessica Strong from Dance To Learn, and together we tackled some listener questions, like:

Hello Reader, It is August, and back-to-dance season is here. (How can summer be over??) This summer was a different one for me, shifting away from my prior responsibilities as a studio owner and into my role at a new studio, as a teacher and curriculum director. TEACHER mode activated. Hello Reader, New season, new set of wiggly, excited dancers......and you already know the challenge: getting a room full of 4-year-olds (or 6-year-olds, or 10-year-olds for that matter!) to freeze in place and listen on cue, when needed. The Sit Down Freeze, my brand new back-to-school resource, is a stop-and-go dance game built exactly for that.
