Hello Reader!
Happy New Year! As we step into 2023, I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to YOU.
If you are reading this, then you have connected with me in some way this year -- through this email list, through a post on social media, or through a purchase you've made of my products.
I truly appreciate it!
For 2023, I am committing to even more connection -- and so, I'm happy to announce something new! Tap Teacher Tuesdays! Every Tuesday on Instagram, I will post tap-related content -- videos, freebies, tips, and teacher hacks. Each week will be something a little different, but it will always be a tool or tip that I've tested and tried with my students first.
Catch up with me on Instagram @dancedancehooray......or go one step further and join the free TAP LIST newsletter, if you haven't already! Tap List members will get a special tap-teaching email every Tuesday, which delves even deeper than a 60-second video can.
In the meantime, enjoy this print-and-play tap vocabulary resource, which is geared towards elementary & middle school age tap students.

Lots of really good updates to Dance Dance Hooray...
Hello Reader, New season, new set of wiggly, excited dancers......and you already know the challenge: getting a room full of 4-year-olds (or 6-year-olds, or 10-year-olds for that matter!) to freeze in place and listen on cue, when needed. The Sit Down Freeze, my brand new back-to-school resource, is a stop-and-go dance game built exactly for that. It teaches young dancers to turn a simple visual or verbal cue into an instant, still, seated pose — so when you need to regroup, give directions,...
In dance training, if technique is the "what" and the "how", then artistry is the "why". Artistry is the element that lifts skill, makes it human, and makes connection possible. It is what makes dance feel *magical* to us all. Like dance technique, it has to be cultivated and it requires an environment where students feel safe to take chances, find their personal voice, and try something new. The good news -- the "when" and the "who" -- is that you can start anytime and with any age level....
